Heavy Industry Build

The entire framework and pipework of the shower is constructed from stainless steel. This makes the shower exceptionally durable and resistant to corrosion even when exposed to harsh environments. 

• Heavy Duty Ball Valves: The unit uses robust stainless steel “stay open” ball valves. This ensures that once the shower or eye wash has been activated it will remain open without the user needing to hold a lever.

• High Volume Drenching: The main shower head on the unit is operated by a pull rod. The shower delivers a flow rate of 76 litres per minute to rapidly wash chemicals off the skin.

Eye Wash Station

 

The 18GS/45G includes an eye wash station positioned at an ergonomic height. The station is built to operate with ease and efficiency even when a worker’s vision is heavily impaired by a hazard.

• Covered Bowl Design: The eye wash station features a durable, ABS plastic bowl with an integrated lid. The lid acts as a protective shield keeping dust, grease, and other pollutants off the nozzles while the unit is not in use.

• Automatic Activation: To activate the water flow the user simply has to pull down the lid. The downward motion automatically triggers the internal water valve.

• Gentle Aerated Flow: The eye wash nozzles are fitted with individual flow controllers, fine mesh strainers, and aerated diffusers. This means the flow of water is highly controlled and gentle, ensuring a deep flush without causing further trauma to the eyes.
